NFL Draft: Iowa State Cyclones A.J. Klein, Carter Bykowski Drafted

Klein and Bykoski will go to the Carolina Panthers and San Francisco 49ers and three other Cyclones Jake Knott, Josh Lenz and Jake McDonough head to NFL camp.

Two Iowa State Cyclone Football players were called up in Saturday's NFL draft and three others will head to NFL camp.

The Carolina Panthers selected Cyclone's linebacker A.J. Klein and the San Francisco 49er's chose offensive lineman Carter Bykowski.

Also Jake Knott, Josh Lenz, and Jake McDonough will go to NFL camp, according to a report from WHOTV.com.

Knott signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles. Lenz has signed as a free agent with the Chicago Bears. McDonough signed with the Jets.

Cyclones.com reports that the last time two Cyclone football players were drafted in the same year was in 2008.
