Not Now Darling, Fleetwood Mac, Miranda Lambert: Ames and Des Moines Metro Events When, Where and Ticket Information
Charlotte's Web, David Zollo, West Side Story in Ames and Plus Fleetwood Mac and Taylor Swift tickets on sale.
Theatrical performances abound in Ames this weekend with the opening of ACTORS Not Now Darling, a comedy for adults, and Charlotte's Web and ZooZoo for all ages and West Side Story for people 13 years and older.
Not Now Darling
Ames local community theater ACTORS opens its interpretation of Not Now Darling an adult comedy about affairs and mistaken identities, Friday. Tickets are $15 and are available at Gallery 319 as well as the ticket window. Shows are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and also on Feb. 8 and Feb. 9. A matinee is scheduled for 2 p.m. Feb. 10.

Charlotte's Web
Theatrework's production of Charlotte's Web brings the timeless story to life 12:30 p.m. Friday at Stephen's Auditorium. Tickets are just $5 at the door.

Zoo Zoo
Tickets are still available for Zoo Zoo, 2 p.m. Sunday at Stephens Auditorium. The show was described as a cross between Cirque du Soeil and Peking Acrobats in Applause magazine. Mimes, dancers and acrobats combine to bring zoo animals to life. The show is recommended for ages 3 on up. Tickets range from $12 to $20.Β

West Side Story
The greatest love story of all time West Side Story is 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Stephen's Auditorium. This is a revival of Arthur Larents' Broadway version. Tickets range from $28 to $53.
An Evening with Jim Brickman
Brickman's last scheduled appearance was canceled due to weather but he is slated to perform 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Stephen's Auditorium.
Basketball
Both the men's and women's ISU basketball teams play Saturday at the Hilton Coliseum. The women face Texas Tech at 1 p.m. and the men play Baylor at 7 p.m. Women's tickets are $5 to $12 and Men's tickets are $10 to $25.
David Zollo
David Zollo and the Body Electric will perform 9 p.m Saturday at the Maintenance Shop. Tickets are $10 to $12 at the door. Students receive a discount.
Useful Jenkins
Useful Jenkins performs 9 p.m. Friday at DG's Tap House. Admission is $8.
Super Bowl
Then there's the Super Bowl on Sunday. Perfect Games is hosting a viewing party starting at 5 p.m. and the City of Ames is having a Super Bowl pool day.

Fleetwood Mac: Fleetwood Mac plans to make a stop at the Wells Fargo Arena on June 26 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Rumours album. Tickets range from $49 to $149 plus fees through dahlstickets.com. The line up includes original members Mick Fleetwood and John McVie and Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.
Jon Bon Jovi: The New Jersey rocker and his band will return to Des Moines on April 14 on the "Because We Can" Tour. Ticket prices start at $19.50.⨠The event takes place at Wells Fargo Arena, Des Moines⨠tickets for the Iowa show went on sale Dec. 3 at dahlstickets.com.
Taylor Swift: Country star Taylor Swift returns to Wells Fargo Arena on Aug. 1 with her Red tour. Tickets go on sale Friday through dahls.tickets.com and a presale has already begun. Tickets range from $31.50 to $86.50 plus fees.
Justin Bieber: Pop star Justin Bieber will also make an appearance at the Wells Fargo Arena on July 7. Tickets are on sale now. Tickets range from $40 to $95.
