
Ames Professional Firefighters βCares Enough to Wear Pinkβ has nailed down the details for a July 10 visit from the Pink Heals.
The Pink Fire TruckΒ is scheduled to swing through Ames July 10, spending the morning cheering up women with cancer before an evening rally from 6 to 8 p.m.Β at theΒ Wal-Mart Supercenter parking lotΒ on S. Duff Avenue.

The evening includes participation from fire, EMS and law enforcement agencies along with the William R. Bliss Cancer Center andΒ a visit from Pink Heals Founder Dave Graybill.
The Pink Heals tour began in 2007 to help people battling cancer with a focus on women, according to a release. Ames Professional Firefighters mirrored the charity with its own βCares Enough to Wear Pinkβ campaign.
