Police Blotter: Theft and Disorderly Conduct

Aug. 17

James R. Sloan, 33, Mortensen Road, was charged with second-degree theft at 1:45 p.m. The charge is a Class D felony punishable by up to five years in prison. Sloan is accused of using another person's credit to purchase more than $2,000 worth of goods in 2012, according to criminal complaints. The charges were filed by the Nevada Police Department.

Elizabeth G. Zimmerman, 21, E. Lincoln Way, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with official acts at 4:27 a.m.

William G. Jackson, 40, Marshalltown, was charged with public intoxication at 1:34 a.m.

Mitchell R. Pond, 31, Omaha, NEB., was charged with disorderly conduct at 2:13 a.m.

Lindsay J Postma, 22, Mortensen Road, was charged with public intoxication at 12:35 a.m.
