Positive Job Market in Ames/Des Moines Region
The latest Manpower survey shows employers plan to add staff at a steady pace through March.
The employment outlook in the Ames and West Des Moines area looks positive according to the latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey.
About 16 percent of employers interviewed plan to hire more employees and just 8 percent planned to reduce their staff from January through March. About 75 percent of area employers expected to maintain their staffing levels.
While hiring activity is expected to increase this quarter it's still less than a year ago when the net employment outlook was 14 percent. The report states.
