Rainy Days in Ames Weekend Weather

Friday Night: A slight chance of showers, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 9pm. Low around 32. Southeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Saturday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 40. Breezy, with a south southeast wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Saturday Night: Rain before midnight, then rain and snow. Areas of fog before midnight. Low around 30. Blustery, with a light and variable wind becoming north northwest 15 to 20 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Sunday: A 50 percent chance of snow, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 32. Windy, with a north northwest wind 18 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
