Report: Subject of Iowa State ER Alert, Captured in Boone
Joshua Daniels, 33, was taken into custody after a seven-hour standoff in Boone, KCCI reports.

A man who walked away from the Curt Forbes Residential Center earlier this week, was taken into custody Thursday after a seven-hour standoff with police in Boone, KCCI reports.
Joshua Daniels went to his mother's Boone home Wednesday evening and threatened to burn it down, police told KCCI. His mother left the home safely, KCCI reports but Daniels wouldn't come out. Police eventually went inside about 3:30 a.m. Thursday, and arrested him, according to KCCI.
Ames police had been looking for Daniels, because he left the residential center and didn't return.
