Royce White Plays YMCA Capital City League, Plans to Work Hard for 76ers
Royce White who was drafted to the NBA's Houston Rockets and could become a Philadelphia 76er said he would fly sometimes while playing for the YMCA's Capital City League Wednesday.
Royce White a former Iowa State Men's Basketball star and first round NBA draft pick told reporters at a YMCA Capital City League game Wednesday that he wouldn't fly 100 flights to play in the NBA.
“One hundred flights would be like if you’re allergic to peanut butter – it’d be like spreading your whole body with it,” White said according to the Des Moines Register.

White came back to Iowa this week to play in a 5:30 p.m. Capital City League game.
White was drafted to the Houston Rockets in June of 2012 after playing just one season at Iowa State University. However struggles over the treatment of his anxiety disorder prevented him from playing for the team and he was eventually sent to the team's D-league Rio Grande Vipers. He is currently waiting on a trade to the Philadelphia 76ers, which is not yet official, but widely reported.

A Philly blogger for CSNPhilly said the trade could be considered a fresh start, but doesn't expect the “end result” to be any different.
White said he doesn't know what the 76ers intend to do, according to the USA Today.
“I'm just going to go there, work hard and try to earn my place,” White said.
