Story County Sheriff Paul Fitzgerald is back at work after a recent hospitalization for Guillain-Barre`syndrome, a rare disorder in which one's immune system attacks the nerves.
Fitzgerald was hospitalized in May after experiencing double vision. He is still recovering, but back at work.
