Summer Camp Focuses on Lincoln Highway Environment and History

A week-long summer camp for 11- to 13-year-olds will focus on the environment, conservation, agriculture and natural resources of communities along the Lincoln Highway.

The Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway Camp will take place from June 24 to June 27. Both the camp and the byway are managed by an Ames nonprofit called Prairie Rivers of Iowa. Read the Ames Patch announcement to learn more about the camp and how to sign up. See other summer camps here.
