TCU Starting Quarterback Arrested, Suspended, Before Game Against Iowa State
The Texas Christian Horned Frog's quarterback, Casey Pachall, has been arrested and suspended two days before they play Iowa State Cyclones.

The Iowa State Cyclones went from playing the No. 15 TCU Horned Frogs this weekend to playing the No. 15 Horned Frogs without its starting quarterback.
Texas Christian quarterback Casey Pachall, 21, will not play this weekend. He has been suspended following an arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated early Thursday morning after running a stop sign near the school's Fort Worth, Texas campus.
TCU and Iowa State meet up at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in Texas.

TCU, which brings in a 4-0 record, had been a 10-point favorite. The spread is down to 9.5 points and betting is closed, according to ScoresandOdds.com. Iowa State has a 3-1 record.
Pachall's suspension is indefinite. It was the second time he's run afoul this year.

Redshirt freshman Trevone Boykin will replace Pachall.

"My job as a head coach is to win games, educate our kids and help them with their lives," Patterson said in a statement, which added that TCU would have no further comment. Pachall's "breath specimen" was over the legal limit (0.08), said Pedro Criado, Fort Worth police spokesman. Pachall was transferred to the Mansfield (Texas) jail, where his bond was set at $1,000.
