Teen Who Fell During VEISHEA Expected to Recover
A 19-year-old who fell from a 5-foot wall during VEISHEA is in stable condition.

The 19-year-old injured during VEISHEA, when he fell from a five-foot retaining wall, is expected to make a complete recovery, Ames police announced Monday.
Troy Bentz, 19, of Burnsville, Minn., fell about 10 p.m. Saturday at 207 Stanton Ave., in the Campustown area. When paramedics and officers arrived Bentz was unconscious and bleeding from the head. He was flown to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines for treatment.
He was listed in stable condition Monday.

The teen was not an Iowa State student. He's expected to be released from the hospital in the next few days, according to a release.
