US Serviceman Watches Son Georges Niang Play for ISU Cyclones
Niang's father watched the ISU/West Virginia game in person at the Hilton Coliseum and will watch ISU take on Texas Tech on television tonight.

Sidy Niang came to Iowa to watch his son, Georges Niang, a recent Big 12 rookie of the week, play against West Virginia.
Sidy Niang told the Des Moines Register that he would be watching tonight's game against Texas Tech on television. The game airs on ESPNU and begins at 8 p.m.

Sidy Niang serves in the US Navy and had been stationed on the USNS Big Horn that's currently undergoing repairs in Dentyen's ShipYard in North Charleston, South Carolina.
