What a Night! Former ISU Stars Royce White and Craig Brackins Shine in YMCA Summer League Game: 2012 in Review
The ISU stars — one now an NBA free agent and the other ready for the draft — take part in the YMCA Capital City Basketball League.

So, Patch.com came up short on the scoreboard Wednesday against ADIO Chiropractic in the YMCA Summer League in a 114-113 squeaker.
We don't care. We're considering the night a victory, anyway.

Iowa State's Royce White and Craig Brackins helped attract a standing-room-only crowd to Valley Southwoods Freshman High School for a great — and free — night out for more than 1,000 people.

And Patch.com teamed with White to raffle off a basketball donning his autograph and will donate every dime of the $265 it generated to Orchard Place, which works with youths with behavioral disorders and mental health issues.
Thanks again to Derek Hannah, youth sports director at the Walnut Creek YMCA, for pulling off such a fantastic event.
And there's more great basketball ahead from Tyrus McGee, Georges Niang, Gabe Knutson, Richard Carter, Nazareth Log, Korie Lucious, Bubu Palo, Diante Garrett, Will Clyburn and more players from ISU, Drake and other colleges and area high schools.
