What Do You Want at Roosevelt Park?

The city of Ames could begin park improvements the summer of 2014.

The City of Ames expects to have about $80,000 to spend on a future park next to the former Roosevelt Elementary School, according to a report in the Ames Tribune.

The park funds would be available in July 2014 and the city council would approve a plan for the park before that time.

Items on the wish list include a stage, bicycle racks and playground equipment.
