What's Open and What's Closed on Labor Day in Ames
Labor Day is just around the corner. Some offices will be closed. Add your closings and openings in the comments of this story.
Most City of Ames departments and divisions will be closed Monday, Sept. 2 for Labor Day.
The Resource Recovery Plant, Community Center and Weight Room facilities will be closed.Â
CyRide buses will not run on Monday, Sept. 2. The silver 24 route will not operate on Sunday, Sept. 1 or Monday, Sept. 2. For more information, please visit www.cyride.com.

Ames Public Library, 640 Lincoln Way, will be closed and the Book-Mobile will be closed as well.
Furman Aquatic Center will be open, but the municipal pool will be closed. Tot time, adult laps and water walking will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Open swim will take place from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday Sept. 2.
