
For thoseΒ leeryΒ of mosquito spray, the City of Ames will begin fogging area parks for mosquitos beginning June 24. People can ask for additional fogging prior to eventsΒ by calling the Parks & Recreation Department at: Β 239-5350.
And if you just want to know when to avoid the mosquito sprayers find the fogging schedule below.
The following parks will be fogged betweenΒ 8 and 10 p.m., beginning June 24 through Labor Day, so long as it's not raining and wind speeds is less than 10 mph.
