Where to Vote Early in Ames Saturday

People will be able to vote early from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Dahl's in Ames and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ames Public Library Nov. 3.

The Story County Auditor's Office will also be open for early voting and voter registration from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 3. People can also vote early at the Auditor's office on 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Nov. 5. The Story County Auditor’s Office is located at 900 6^th Street, Nevada.

Voters can request an absentee ballot by filling out an official ‘Absentee Ballot Request Form’ and submitting it to the Auditor’s Office. These forms are available at www.storycountyiowa.gov.

An absentee ballot received in the mail can be returned in an envelope with pre-paid postage postmarked by Nov. 5, in person at the Auditor's Office by 9 p.m. Nov. 6 or by designating someone else to mail or deliver it for you.
