Ballenger On Split High Schools and Playing with Her Sister

Ankeny High School junior, Megan Ballenger, is the Des Moines Register's Prep of the week.

Ballenger is an outside hitter who remained with the Ankeny Hawks after the student body was split into, two high schools. Ankeny Centennial High School opened this fall. 

Ballenger said there are less girls in the gym, but they are determined to make it back to the state volleyball competition this year. She also told the Register what it was like to play with her younger sister, who is also on the team.
