Miracle Park Wins $20,000 Grant
Funds for the Miracle Park project in Ankeny continue to roll in.

The Miracle Park Project received yet another boost with a $20,000 grant from the Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS) and national non-profit KaBOOM!
The funds were from a Let’s Play City Construction Grant aimed at encouraging families to become active.

The Miracle League held its first ball games in September and work continues on the attached inclusive playground and restroom facility.

The Ankeny Kiwanis Club and the City of Ankeny are leading the project and have raised more than $1.1 million toward the $1.2 million goal. Fundraising began in January 2012.
