2013 State Wrestling Results: Cedar Falls Wrestler Earns Place at Podium

The 2013 state wrestling tournament comes to a close on Saturday.

Cedar Falls had a three wrestlers qualify for the tournament, and one earned a respectable seventh place finish at his weight class. 

Dan Kelly, a sophomore, fell out of the championship bracket in the quarterfinal round but recovered to earn a seventh place finish at 120 pounds through wrestle backs.

Kelly won a 9-1 major decision over Aaron Meyer, a Pleasant Hill sophomore, on Saturday. Kelly also defeated Kelly in the first round of the tournament.
