Cedar Falls Fire Rescue Asks for Public's Help After Winter Storm Rocky
Heavy snowfall has buried fire hydrants, and the public is called upon to help clear them.

Cedar Falls Fire Rescue has asked for the public's help in the wake of Winter Storm Rocky's heavy snowfall.
Firefighters are requesting residents and business owners to clear the snow from around fire hydrants located on their property.
Over the coming days, crews will be removing snow from around the hydrants at predetermined higher risk properties. But there are around 1,000 fire hydrants in the city, and firefighters said any help is appreciated.
