Cedar Falls Police: Man Shot Himself While Removing Gun From His Pants

Police are investigating an accidental shooting at a convenience store on Hudson Road Monday night.

Cedar Falls Police say a man accidentally shot himself Monday night at B & B West, 3105 Hudson Road.

Police said Jeffrey Fox, 22, told officers he had shot himself in the hand while removing a handgun from his pants.

Fox was transported to a local hospital for treatment, and his condition was unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
