City Issues College Hill, Parkade and High School-Area Parking Ban for Snow Removal Wednesday Night

Cedar Falls Public Works will begin snow hauling operations from the High School, Parkade and College Hill areas beginning at 11 p.m., Wednesday, February 6.

Crews will work through the night to remove windrows and piles of snow from these locations. The city’s Snow Ordinance will be invoked specifically for these areas at 8 p.m. Wednesday and continue until 7 a.m. Thursday.

Enforcement of no “on street” parking will begin at 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Public parking lots will not be affected by the ordinance and can be utilized as a parking alternative.
