Finding Nemo, Bible Conference and Social Security - The Comedy: This Weekend in Cedar Falls

July 27 to Aug. 4: The 92nd Annual Cedar Falls Bible Conference will take place at Riverview Conference Center . Enjoy nine days of inspired bible teachings, concerts, worship, fellowship and fun. All conference sessions, including concerts are open to all who wish to attend at no charge. A free will offering will be taken at each session. July 26: Social Security - The Comedy, Oster Regent Theatre, July 26, 27, August 3 at 7:30 p.m. and August 4 at 2 p.m.
Social Security is a play by Andrew Bergman that focuses on trendy Manhattan art gallery owners Barbara and David Kahn, whose life is upended when her Mineola housewife sister Trudy deposits their eccentric mother Sophie on the couple's doorstep while she and her husband Martin head to Buffalo to rescue their sexually precocious college student daughter from a menage a trois with two men. Barbara and David introduce Sophie to suave nonagenarian artist Maurice Koenig, who offers to paint her portrait and soon begins to brighten her life in ways she never expected in her twilight years.

July 26: Live to 9 - Snozzberries, 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Live to 9 concert series is presented by the Cedar Falls Jaycees and the Cedar Basin Jazz Festival. July 26 - 28: 2013 Midwest Regional Ski Tournament: 
Waterhawks Ski Team, Eagle Lake, Evansdale. The Waterhawks Ski Team, the defending Midwest Region Champions (they also won in 2011), are hosting this year's Midwest Regional Show Ski Tournament.
