Flash Flood Warning Issued as Car is Reported Submerged in Cedar Falls

The National Weather Service reports a car was submereged in Cedar Falls Wednesday as flash flooding occured.

Black Hawk County is under a flash flood warning until 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. 

The car was near the Hy-Vee and Townhouse Tenderloin area (University Avenue and Midway Drive) in Cedar Falls, the Weather Service said. 

Water was also flowing onto Highway 57 west of Cedar Falls. Street flooding was also reported in and around Cedar Falls.
