Ginger's Pub Prepares to Open on College Hill

A group of men were hard at work inside 925 W. 22nd St. Tuesday, renovating the former Mojo's into Ginger's Pub.

Owner Marcus Kjeldsen oversaw the grinding of saws and application of finishing touches while working on his laptop, seated at the new bar. He said Ginger's should be open soon.

"We're excited to bring a good craft brew-style place to College Hill," he said.

Kjeldsen, 36, currently owns The Hub. He said he will continue to operate the Main Street venue as well as Ginger's.

He said he plans to have 40 craft beers on tap and live music on the weekends at Ginger's. There is also talk of plans for a sand volleyball league.
