Golf Ball-Sized Hail and 70 mph Winds Headed for Cedar Falls?
The National Weather Service says severe weather could hit this afternoon.

Sadly, this spring, sunny days are fleeting, and severe weather could be on its way this afternoon.
The National Weather Service out of Des Moines says portions of central Iowa, including Black Hawk County, can expect "intense thunderstorms" Monday afternoon:
"These storms will be capable of producing golf ball-sized hail and straight line winds up to 70 mph. A tornado is also possible with these storms."
There will be several chances for additional thunderstorms from Friday into early next week. There is the chance for large hail and damaging winds Friday night, according to the Weather Service.
