Hartman Reserve Announces 2013 Artist-In-Residence
The Hartman Artist-in-Residence program offers resident artists the opportunity to pursue their artistic discipline while being surrounded by Hartman Reserve's inspiring landscape.

Press release from Hartman Reserve:
The Friends of Hartman Reserve have selected Riley Martin as the 2013 Hartman Artist-In-Residence. Riley currently is enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program for Studio Drawing at the University of Northern Iowa. She has exhibited her work at the Hearst Center for the Arts and in student exhibitions at the UNI Gallery of Art.
Riley will be offering public programs at Hartman during her residency this summer. She says the idea of teaching others is something she has always been interested in, and she especially enjoys interacting with children.

The Hartman Artist-in-Residence program offers resident artists the opportunity to pursue their artistic discipline while being surrounded by Hartman Reserve’s inspiring landscape. In return, Riley is asked to donate to Hartman an original work of art representative of her residency at Hartman Reserve. She will have the opportunity to showcase and sell her artwork at a public event later this summer. Riley also will be honored at the Friends of Hartman Reserve’s annual Under the Harvest Moon benefit dinner, November 8, 2013.
