Sheriff's Deputies Will Cook Steak Dinners to Raise Funds for K-9 Program
Loki, a 2 year old Belgian Malinois, has already demonstrated his outstanding capabilities and is recognized as one of the best "dual purpose" K-9's in the state of Iowa.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit will be hosting a steak dinner fundraiser in cooperation with the Waterloo Moose Lodge, in Washburn, Iowa on Saturday, June 29, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Moose Lodge is located at 6636 La Porte Road and has supported the K-9 unit for several years with similar events. This year, steak or ham dinners will be cooked to order by deputies of the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office. Loki, our newest K-9 deputy and Deputy Matt Harris, his trainer/partner, will also be on hand to meet everyone.

The Sheriff’s Office K-9 program is funded solely on donations, and this is a great way to help secure funding for the maintenance and continued success of this impact having program.
