If you enjoy astronomy and helping children learn about the stars then this is a perfect opportunity to volunteer for a few hours or all day. This day camp is designed to teach children grades 3-6 about the stars. They will learn the workings of a telescope by building their own; discover the age of our star, the Sun, by creating a solar oven; and experience life in space as they enjoy having lunch like an astronaut.Â
This camp will be held at the Grout Museum District on June 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Call 272-2087 to volunteer.
