Wanted: Terry Lee Kiefer in Connection to Meth Lab Fire at EconoLodge in Waterloo

Police say Megan Hemmer, 24, and Kiefer, 21, were manufacturing methamphetamine in the hotel at the time of the fire.

Cedar Valley Crimestoppers and Waterloo Police Department are seeking help locating a Terry Lee Kiefer in connection to a meth lab fire at a Waterloo EconoLodge on Saturday.

The Waterloo Police Department and Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help in locating Terry Lee Kiefer DOB 2-25-91 in connection to a fire at the EconoLodge, 3350 University Avenue, on Saturday February 16th, 2012.

According to the Waterloo Police Department Megan Hemmer, age 24, and Kiefer were allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine in the hotel at the time of the fire.

On February 19th warrants were issued for Kiefer for Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Arson in the 2nd Degree. Kiefer also has a warrant for a Parole Violation.

Anyone with information on Kiefer’s location is asked to call Black Hawk County Dispatch at 319-291-2515 or Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers at 855-300-TIPS (8477). Anyone with information leading to his arrest is eligible for a cash reward.

The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports that Hemmer was arrested over the weekend.
