3 Reasons the Lt. Dan Band Concert for Taylor Morris is Going to be Awesome

The concert will be a benefit to raise funds to build a smart home for injured sailor and Cedar Falls native Taylor Morris.

Not sure yet if you're going to the Lt. Dan Band benefit concert on Saturday?

Here are three reasons to consider it, with three videos below to back us up.

1. It supports a great cause - helping build smart homes for injured veterans. Smart homes are designed with each veteran's injuries in mind, to help them increase independence. It costs about $500,000 to build each home, and there is a long waiting list. Watch the first video to learn more.

2. It supports one of our own, injured sailor and Cedar Falls native Taylor Morris. A Navy explosive ordnance disposal expert, Morris lost parts of all four limbs while serving in Afghanistan.

3. It just looks like it's going to be a fun, entertaining show, as the third video demonstrates.
