What should the Cedar Falls School Board look for in a new superintendent?
The selection criteria for the next leader of the Cedar Falls school district is on the agenda for a board work session tonight.
The search for a new superintendent follows first-year Superintendent Mike Wells' resignation. Wells resigned, effective at the end of June, rather than be terminated by the board, which decided not to renew his one-year contract.

Last week, the board chose search firm McPherson and Jacobson of Omaha, Neb., to assist with finding a replacement for Wells.
Tonight's meeting will be at the James L. Robinson Administrative Center, 1002 W. First St. at 6 p.m. It is open to the public.
The agenda also includes a presentation from ICAT.
