Woman Whose SUV Struck Cedar Falls School Bus Cited
No one was injured in the accident, and the children in the bus were safely transferred to another bus.

A woman whose sports utility vehicle collided with a Cedar Falls school bus Wednesday has been cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance.
Cedar Falls Police said Monica Forrester, 30, of Cedar Falls, struck the bus from behind at about 3:15 p.m. Aug. 14 when the bus, driven by Christie Twaites, 48, of Waterloo, was stopped at railroad tracks on Center Street.Â
School buses always come to complete stops at railroad tracks even when there is no train.
