City Council Honors Des Moines Store's 80-Year History

Campbell's Nutrition has evolved from a lunch counter serving carrot sandwiches to a full-service health and nutrition business.

DES MOINES, IA — The Des Moines City Council will make a special presentation at 4 p.m. today in recognition of Campbell's Nutrition's 80 years in Des Moines. The company celebrated its anniversary in September.

Campbell's began as a lunch counter in downtown Des Moines in 1937. It has grown into a full-service health and nutrition store and is Iowa's oldest health food store.
