Class Size a Topic at School Meeting Tonight

Longfellow parents have concerns that classrooms are too crowded for learning.

parents can discuss crowded classrooms when the school's parent-teacher association meets tonight.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. at the school. On the agenda is a report on enrollment/classroom size and information about a class-size letter writing campaign.

Some classrooms have more than 30 students, and parents have started to voice their discontent to disctrict officials saying it's hard for their children to participate in class and difficult to concentrate.
