Coralville City Administrator Kelly Hayworth said the lawsuit filed last March against the city by a group of businesspeople and developers over the city’s land sale to Von Maur in the Iowa River Landing has been dropped. In turn, the city has dropped its countersuit against the plaintiffs.
“Both the business people and the city dismissed our lawsuits against each other,” Hayworth said Wednesday. “Now, that part of it is behind us.”
The decision to drop the countersuit was approved by the Coralville City Council at Tuesday’s meeting.
