Iowa City Road Construction: Oakcrest Street

Weather permitting on Friday, Oakcrest Street will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic from George Street to Oaknoll Drive. This lane reduction is necessary to facilitate repair work to a sanitary service line in the area. It is anticipated that normal traffic will resume by the end of the day on Saturday, February 9th.

Motorists are asked to take note of this lane reduction and to allow extra travel time as delays may be possible. As always, caution should be exercised when traveling in all construction areas.
