According to the MPOJC report — which is based on data collected from 2008 to 2010 — the five worst collision locations in Iowa City are Melrose Avenue and Mormon Trek Boulevard, Burlington and Clinton streets, Burlington and Gilbert streets, Riverside Drive and Grand Avenue/Burlington Street, and Rocky Shore Drive and Highway 6. In Coralville, the top-ranking intersections are Coral Ridge Avenue and Commerce Drive, Highway 6 and First Avenue, Highway 6 and 22nd Avenue, Coral Ridge Avenue and Holiday Road, Highway 6 and 12th Avenue, and Highway 6 and 25th Avenue.
