Perry Headliner for JC Republicans BBQ

A front-runner for the Republican nomination for president, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, will be the keynote speaker of the annual Johnson County Republicans Annual Fall Barbecue.

The event is on Friday, Oct. 7 at Clear Creek-Amana High School in Tiffin. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., according to the group's website. Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad and others are also slated to speak.

The cost of the event will be $20 per person, $30 per couple, $40 per family of four and  $10 for college students.
