Regular Yard Waste Pickup Suspended in Iowa City from Beginning of February until Second Week of March

Iowa City will be suspending weekly route yard waste services beginning Monday, February 4, 2013 through Friday, March 8, 2013. This service adjustment is being done to conserve fuel and limit expenses during late winter when there is minimal use of the service. However, yard waste service will continue to be offered during this period by appointment. Customers may call the Solid Waste Division at 319-356-5180 24-hours ahead of their regular collection day to request pick up service.
