Chamber Presents Check to Johnston Partnership
The Johnston Chamber of Commerce presented the Johnston Partnership with a check for money raised at the Annual Spooktacular Fun Run.
The Johnston Partnership received a nice gift just in time for the holidays.
The Johnston Chamber of Commerce presented the Partnership with a check for $2,600. The money was raised during the Chamber's fourth annual Spooktacular Fun Run, which was held on Oct. 13.
This year, racers didn't let the weather get the best of them.

The day began with a thunderstorm, but the run went off without a hitch.
While the donation is wonderful, the Partnership is always accepting donations.
How to Help
The Johnston Partnership welcomes volunteers to help sort and package items during open time, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays, Lindsey Wanderscheid said.

If you can't make it to the Partnership to volunteer time, you can always stop by with a donation.
Top needed items include:
- Laundry detergent (e.g. Sun brand from Dollar Tree)
- Size 4 diapers and Pull ups
- New children's socks and Underwear
- Peanut butter
- Canned tuna and chicken
- Cereal (hot and cold)
