The boys' varsity team is off to a 2-4 start this season. Winning against Des Moines North and Urbnadale, with losses to Ankeny, Waukee, Ames and Valley.
The girls' varsity team is off to a 2-5 start this season. The Dragons recorded wins against Des Moines North and Urbandale with losses to Cedar Rapids Xavier, Ankeny, Ames, Valley and Waukee.

- Tuesday, Dec. 18: Dragons vs. Mason City , 7:45 p.m., at Johnston High School
- Friday, Dec. 21: Dragons vs. Fort Dodge, 7:45 p.m., at Johnston High School.
