City Of Johnston: USING FIREWORKS INSIDE CITY LIMITS IS PROHIBITED

As you celebrate the New Year, the City of Johnston reminds residents it is illegal to discharge fireworks within Johnston city limits. Disregarding the fireworks ordinance is a violation and is punishable by a fine of up to $500 per violation.

Fireworks UseJohnston prohibits the use of fireworks within the city limits. Violators could face a fine of up to $500 per violation. (City Code Chapter 41.12)
