Construction Trailer Broken Into, Stolen Coats: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Jan. 31. Take a look at the reports.

Jan. 30
All Pro Concrete reported someone had pried open their construction trailer door and taken tools and other items for the trailer. The approximate loss was over $2,500.

A 39-year-old man reported a man had taken his coats from a bar. Officer made contact with the male subject and retrieved one coat. Victim did not want charges, worked out arrangements to get the other coat.

Jan. 31
A 45-year-old man reported a phone scam that involved a man claiming to be a representative from his existing satellite service company. The victim reported a loss of over $500.
