Credit Card Fraud, OWI - Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Jan. 10 and Jan. 11. Take a look at the reports.

Dates below are when the incident was reported or occurred, not when an arrest or charges were filed. Charges do not always result in convictions. All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.

Jan. 10
A 60-year-old woman reported someone had used her credit card information to make a purchase without her authorization.

A 21-year-old woman reported someone had opened a credit card and listed her as a secondary on the account. Victim does not believe the primary person opened the account either and that they are a victim as well.

Jan. 11
A 23-year-old man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and cited for no drivers license and driving on the wrong side of the road.
