Dog Shot Twice With BB Gun
A Johnston Police report shows officers responded to a case of animal abuse.

A routine trip to the vet turned scary for one dog and his owner.
On Feb. 8, officers responded to a case of animal abuse after a 66-year-old man took his dog to the veterinarian for a regular check-up.
It determined that the dog had been shot twice by a BB Gun.

Police officials said the owner didn't witness the incident and was unsure when it could have occurred.
The dog appeared to be fine otherwise.
