Each of the five elementary schools in the district – Beaver Creek, Horizon, Lawson, Timber Ridge, and Wallace – will hold an information meeting and registration from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Parents should come prepared with the following documents:
- Proof of legal address or residence (i.e. utility bill with your name and address on it)
- Child’s birth certificate or birth record from hospital
- Child’s immunization record
At the meeting, staff will share information about the kindergarten programs offered in Johnston. This will include busing, all-day kindergarten daily schedule, developmental kindergarten options, curriculum, health information, before and after school care, and other details. This is a night designed for parents; children will have an opportunity to visit their school in April.
