Harassing Calls, Student Assault: Johnston Police Blotter
The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Dec. 15 to Dec. 17. Take a look at the reports.

Dates below are when the incident was reported or occurred, not when an arrest or charges were filed. Charges do not always result in convictions. All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.
Dec. 15
A 39-year-old man reported receiving harassing phone calls.
Dec. 16
Officers were dispatched in reference to crime alert call on a person who was not supposed to be at the residence. Officers spoke with the homeowner and all was OK.
Dec. 17
A student reported being assaulted by another student on the bus. The incident is under investigation.
